Description

The Penelope Barker Sconce features a long, narrow glass chimney, inspired by traditional whale oil lamps from the late 1700s and early 1800s. During this period, whale oil lamps were considered a “high-tech” lighting solution, providing brighter light and less smoke compared to candles, whose tallow produced an unpleasant odor when burned.
